Volume control is accomplished with a precision resistor ladder (63 steps) with a tolerance of 0.1%, controlled by high-end signal relays, providing unparalleled accuracy and reliability that traditional potentiometers do not offer. In addition, the AS100 is equipped with a remote control function, providing convenience of use. The amplifier is based on the proprietary Circle Power technology, which combines the best features of asymmetrical and symmetrical topologies. The latest Burr-Brown ultra-low-noise J-FET transistors in the input stage guarantee absolute signal purity, while bipolar transistors in the output stages provide the dynamics and performance needed to control a set of speakers.Dual-mono technology, combined with separate toroidal transformers for a total of 400 watts and power supplies with 200,000 µF capacitors, allows the AS100 to drive most available loudspeakers while ensuring low distortion and the highest sound quality.
